2025 CHOIR

(ONLY FOR SELECTED CHOIR STUDENTS: CLOSING DATE THURS 24TH APRIL 2025)
As a year 4 - 8 student your child has an opportunity to participate in this year's Tauranga Schools’ Music Festival. The Tauranga Schools Music Festival has been running for many years and is a great way to experience performing with students from other schools in front of a full crowd at Baycourt Theatre. The entire experience is both supportive and fun.
This will require the students to commit to practices in school and some practice at home.
(Practices in school occur during lunch time)
The students will also have to attend 2 mass rehearsals and 1 dress rehearsal (see below for the dates)
Students will be required to attend and participate in the Music Festival Performance night which for Taumata is Friday 29th August.
There is a cost of $30 to cover bus transport to and from all three rehearsals - This is to ensure we do not ask for money on 3 separate occasions.

IMPORTANT PAYMENT INFORMATION:
COST: $30.00
We are no longer able to accept direct payments into the School Bank Account for "user pays" activities. All "user pays" activities for 2025 will be loaded onto the School Website Online Shop under "ACTIVITIES". Note that if payment is made into the School Bank Account it will be refunded to you and payment will need to be made correctly on the School Website.
Please make payment by the CLOSING DATE of THURSDAY 24TH APRIL 2025 to ensure that your child can be registered to attend choir. You will NOT be able to register after this date because the form will not be available on the School Website after 24th April 2025 as we are required to make confirmation with Service providers. You are only able to give permission, pay and register using the School Website Online Shop.
REMINDERS:
We will continue to send general reminders to all parents through HERO notices so please ensure you keep your email confirmation of payment and registration from the Website Online Shop to prevent making double payments. If you prefer to access your payment history, then please ensure you have created an account when logging into our School Website. This form is limited to selected Choir students only. Once you have confirmed registration, we are unable to offer refunds as confirmation will be provided to Service providers.

NOTE: Please ensure any outstanding Tech Fees for any Year 7/8 students still outstanding in HERO are paid so as to not impact participation in “user pays” activities.
